How do I deposit money in my Ampla account?

Your Ampla account supports deposits by direct external bank integrations, digital wires, as well as paper check deposits.

Electronic deposits:

If your bank is integrated in Ampla, the process to deposit money is very simple. From the banking tab, simply select the ‘Move money’ drop down in the top right corner of the screen, and select ‘Deposit money’.

From there you will have two options, “Link your bank for ACH transfers” and “Wire funds in from another bank”.

Link your bank for ACH transfer will take you to a page with all active bank integrations. From there you will be able to choose your bank, designate the timing and the amount to be transferred, and initiate the ACH pull request from your linked bank account. If you do not have any integrated bank accounts you will have the option to link your account via Plaid from this page as well.

Wire funds in from another bank will display all your account information, including routing number, account number, bank name, address, and beneficiary name. This information will allow you to go to your alternate bank account, and enter in this information for a wire of ACH debit to your Ampla checking account.

Paper check deposits:

Ampla offers paper check deposits via a supported lockbox address where checks can be mailed. It is important when these checks are mailed to this address that the address and PO box are correct, as Ampla has no ability to rectify issues related to incorrectly mailed checks.

After a check is received at the PO box it will be deposited within 2 business days, and you will see it reflected in your account, with a PDF image of the check that was deposited.

I have a check which was mailed to me, can I deposit it into my account myself?

At this time Ampla does not support check deposits via an app or mobile tool, though we are working on that functionality for the future. If you were sent a check the only way you can deposit it into your Ampla account is to either mail it to the Ampla PO box (outlined in the paper check deposits section), or to deposit it into a different bank account, then wire the funds to your Ampla account.

How long will it take for my funds to be deposited in my Ampla account?

The timing for funds being sent to an Ampla account will largely depend on the timing of the delivering banking entity that sent the wire or ACH. If you are worried about a delay I would recommend checking with your banking partner that is sending the funds to Ampla.

On our end Wires will be posted the day they are received by 6:45 pm ET, and ACHs will be posted immediately upon receipt with no delays in the Ampla portal.
